Training & Events Coordinator

Join our training team in Brighton on a 12 Month Fixed Term Contract to cover maternity, you will be working with the training administration team arranging and managing our training sessions and events in the UK, with support also required for our overseas activities. This is a great role for an individual that has strong organisational skills and cares about delivering a quality service to colleagues and customers.

Job Role

  • Dealing with all UK training requests for both HQ and in the field
  • Advising on and booking training
  • Liaising with the customers to confirm and remind about sessions
  • Liaising with hotels to book venues and confirm requirements for our seminars and training days
  • Maintain Excel reporting on all UK and overseas training with regards to training figures on a monthly/quarterly/yearly basis
  • Prepare statistics on venue costs/price per person/cost per event
  • Providing effective support to the field trainers
  • Set up training pages on our website to promote events as required
  • Assist with organisation of small and large events
  • Additional tasks as required by the demands of the department

Skills, Experience and Qualifications

  • Some experience working within administration and customer service
  • Fluent with Microsoft office, Outlook, Word, Excel
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills with good negotiating skills
  • A good geographical knowledge of the UK
  • An organised individual and the ability to work to deadlines
