Customer Service Advisor

Department: Support

We are currently looking for driven individuals to join our fast paced, Technical Support team based in Brighton.
As a Customer Service Advisor, you will provide excellent product support and be the first point of contact for all enquiries from our global partners and customers.

Key Responsibilities
  • Respond to customer enquiries via a range of communication channels, including call, email & skype
  • Provide world class, first line product support
  • Troubleshoot with installers and customers to ensure issues are resolved in a timely manner
  • Accurately keep full and up to date customer records
  • Work closely with other teams in Paxton to test new products and features before launch into the market

Project Manager

Department: Development

Location: Brighton, West Sussex

Join our team in Brighton where you will be involved with managing complex building intelligence and access control development projects. Projects will fall into breakthrough technology studies, new technology product development, product enhancements and improvements, regulatory and obsolescent/ maintenance categories. You will also be responsible for a team of engineers, setting objectives, conducting appraisals and one-to-ones, and providing guidance and mentoring when needed.

Key Responsibilities
  • Plan and manage the project to meet Product time-to-market and cost targets to the agreed standards.
  • Present regular progress reports, and to escalate any issues for resolution to the Project Steering Group
  • Work with the Program Teams to achieve Phase Reviews in accordance with project engineering process
  • Work with Principal Engineers and other key managers within the department to plan future staff, skill, and tool requirements
  • Produce when required accurate project estimates of material costs, obtain necessary approval for this expenditure and manage the actual spend against the approved limit..


Skills & Experience
  • Solid experience in project management experience with track record of delivery ideally in a technical role but not essential
  • Good communication and presentation skills; confident in front of project teams and executives
  • Strong management and leadership experience a builder and empower of people
  • Proficient in the use of related tools (e.g. MS Office, PowerPoint, Project)
  • Qualification in project management e.g. APMP, Prince II practitioner.

Product Administrator

Department: Product Management

Location: Brighton, United Kingdom

Join our team based in our Brighton office where you will be responsible for assisting the Product Management Team in all aspects of administration relating to product information and documentation. You will also be required for early stage market research into new product areas, and assisting the Product Managers with the preparation and communication of new product launches.

Key Responsibilities
  • Chase through actions and items relating to specific products
  • Monitor and respond to incoming enquiries via the Product Management email group
  • Assist with the ongoing maintenance and administration of the product portfolio
  • Gathering, manipulating and reporting on Product data
  • Market research and analysis using various methods such as internet searches, speaking to customers etc.
  • Assist with the administration of both the software and hardware translations
  • Attending regular product related meetings with the Product Management team and taking notes and actions
  • Help and support the Product Management team with any other relevant work items.


Skills & Experience
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Strong administration, organisational skills and ensuring a high level of accuracy is maintained
  • Good ability to interpret and produce data
  • Either an interest or some experience working with technology
  • Would be advantageous having a Product Design degree or some relevant experience

PR & Communications Coordinator

Department: Marketing

Location: Brighton, United Kingdom

Join our marketing team based in our Brighton office on a 6 Month Fixed Term Contract to cover maternity, where you will be building brand awareness for Paxton by communicating company, product and service key messages via press and media across the globe. The main focus is on communicating company news to both the media & to Paxton employees. The Co-ordinator’s role includes creating briefs, writing copy for targeted communications campaigns and liaising with key media contacts & internal stakeholders to drive news activity. The Co-ordinator offers practical support, valued communications advice and creative input, which are key elements in driving Paxton’s media and communications success forward.

Key Responsibilities
  • Implement Paxton’s global PR and communications program to meet Paxton’s business objectives
  • Source and draft news stories to gain coverage and reach our target audience via media channels
  • Ensure strong press engagement by maintaining and developing positive day-to-day relationships with key contacts including publishers, editors and advertising contacts
  • Identify new media contacts, clients, and sector opportunities, and keep abreast of news stories that might be relevant to or affect Paxton
  • Create reports and calculate ROI on PR and communications projects to acknowledge achievements and suggest improvements.
  • Create engaging content for Paxton’s global website. Maintain and update website content including pictures, copy, announcements and articles
  • Lead on communications activities and projects in line with the content calendar. Co-ordinate activities using tools such as Basecamp, our internal helpdesk system and 6 step project planner in PowerPoints
  • Be prepared to travel ad hoc out of normal working hours and stay overnight to help co-ordinate and attend communications events, such as trade shows, exhibitions, award ceremonies, seminars, etc.


Skills & Experience
  • BA Hons degree in communications/marketing/PR or equivalent industry experience
  • Experience of creating communications content for a global brand
  • Ability to be highly creative and imaginative
  • Demonstrable experience of running multiple projects from inception to delivery, managing & engaging stakeholders
  • An interest in commerce, popular culture and new technology for media & communications
  • A sound understanding of the role of Communications within a global organisation

Software Engineer

Test Automation Developer

Full Stack Developer

C Developer

Production Supervisor

Department: Manufacturing

Location:Eastbourne, United Kingdon

Join our production team based in Eastbourne where you will be responsible for the supervision of all functions within the factory environment to ensure the smooth running of operations, with a primary focus on Quality, Cost and Delivery, leading to the provision of a world class manufacturing facility. You will also be responsible for the leadership, training and development of staff and co-ordination of resources will be key to ensuring success. The hours for this position will be working from 07.00 - 15.15 Monday - Friday.

Key Responsibilities
  • Working closely with the Production Manager to plan and co-ordinate the manufacture of PCBA’s, assemblies and finished boxed goods in a timely and efficient manner to achieve your team’s objectives
  • Resource planning in each department to ensure all areas are supported in line with priorities
  • Investigates and resolves problems that arise on a shift by shift basis
  • Monitoring the compliance inbox and acting as the first point of contact for related queries
  • Working with the Manufacturing and Electrical Test Engineers to ensure a speedy response to urgent issues causing delays in manufacture
  • Implement the company’s Health and Safety Policy, ensuring safe working conditions and practices within the Factory
  • Any other reasonable duties which may be required by management from time to time


Skills & Experience
  • Relevant supervisory experience in a manufacturing environment would be advantageous
  • Strong people management, employee relations and interpersonal skills
  • An engineering degree or equivalent experience
  • Excellent planning, organising and prioritising skills
