We Featured in the Sunday Times 100 Best Companies to Work for List
In February we were delighted to announce that we had featured in the Sunday Times 100 Best Companies to Work for list, for the second year running! Inclusion in the list, which is run by Sunday Times in collaboration with Best Companies is based on anonymous feedback from our UK employees. We threw a celebration lunch for everyone and caught up with Adam Stroud, Paxton CEO, about what being included in the list means.
The Audio Monitor Launched – Completing Our Door Entry Range
On 2nd April we launched the audio monitor adding a cost-effective option to our award-winning door entry range, Entry. This addition means that Entry is now suitable for more sites than ever before. The audio monitor fully supports all existing Entry functionality where video is not required, making it ideal for sites where budgets may be restrictive.

Net2 Web User Interface Launched
On 21st May we announced the launch our new user interface for Net2, Net2Online. Net2Online makes Net2 access control accessible from any device with an internet connection, giving users ultimate flexibility and ownership of the system – wherever they are. It comes as a free feature with our Net2 Pro software.
New Integrations
This year eight new Net2 integrations have been added meaning you can offer more solutions to your customers. These included; visitor management, ANPR, CCTV, Mobile access, biometrics and active directory manufacturers.

You Spoke, We Listened – Our New Global Website Went Live
In July we launched our new global website which was designed based directly on your feedback. We listened to the requirements and features you wanted and re-designed our entire website. Thank you all for the support during our launch phase as well.

We were excited this year for PaxLock Pro to be shortlisted for two prestigious industry awards, Benchmark Innovation and PSi Premier. The PSI Premier Awards are voted for by installers and it gave us great pride to receive the Access Control Product of the Year title for the eighth year running! In addition to this, our Entry range is now accredited by UK national police crime initiative Secured by Design. This means it has reached the highest standards of security and you can offer your customers peace of mind.
Continuing to Offer You World-Class Support
Last year we renovated the ground floor of our Head Office in Brighton to open our Global Support Hub, where our Technical Support team work incredibly hard six days a week to help you with your installation and sales queries. The new space enables us to give our team a world-class area to support you and continue to develop their product knowledge each day.
Investing in the Bright Minds of Tomorrow With the Paxton Scholarship
At the beginning of this year we announced our 2019 scholars of the Paxton Scholarship. This initiative is now running for its third year and offers students at University of Brighton and University of Sussex, studying Engineering and Product Design related courses, the opportunity to apply for a £10,000 scholarship and three-month work placement with us. in November we also held an open day at our technology centre for students graduating in 2020. Investing in local talent is incredibly important to Paxton and we’re excited to announce the 2020 recipients of the scholarship soon.

September and October were busy months for the Paxton team! We went to nine venues across the UK to showcase our upcoming release, Paxton10. A huge thank you to everyone who came along to one of the events, it was fantastic to see so many of you in person and give live demos, answer all your questions and see you competing in our VR racing competition!
Paxton10 launch
On 4th November we officially launched Paxton10 to our UK customers. The system combines access control and video management on a single platform. There’s also an online interface meaning users can manage the security of your site easily.

Train Wherever You Are With Our Online Training Platform
We know that time is precious and sometimes it’s not always feasible to take a day out to come along to an in-person training session. So this year we launched online training, meaning you can train whenever you like, wherever you like.
