So much has happened at Paxton in 2020. We released a range of new products and software updates, including the Entry Standard monitor and a number of new COVID-secure features for Net2.

We Featured in the Sunday Times 100 Best Companies to Work for List
In February we were delighted to announce that we had featured in the Sunday Times 100 Best Companies to Work for list, for the third year running! Inclusion in the list, which is run by Sunday Times in collaboration with Best Companies is based on anonymous feedback from our UK employees. We threw a celebration lunch for everyone and caught up with Adam Stroud, Paxton CEO, about what being included in the list means.
The Entry Standard Monitor Launched
Back in May, we added to our video entry product range with the launch of our next generation standard monitor – the Entry Standard monitor.
The new monitor comes with a 4.3” capacitive touch screen, and the same user interface as the Entry Premium monitor. The sleek, timeless design enables the Entry Standard monitor to fit discreetly into any surroundings.
Developed in response to customer feedback, the new standard monitor offers a feature-rich and cost-effective solution for a range of applications – from schools and hospitals to offices and residential buildings.
COVID-Secure Features Added to Net2 System
Throughout 2020 a range of new features for Net2 were specifically developed to help installers and end-users create COVID-secure systems. The new features have been well received, helping to support social distancing and make buildings COVID-secure.

Net2 Tutorials to Help You Configure your System
To help installers and end-users get to grips with the new COVID-secure features of our Net2 system we created a whole range of tutorials to help you use and install the system with ease.
Brand New Paxton Installer App
On 20th October we launched the Paxton Installer App. The tool has been designed as a centralised platform, to give installers instant access to the information they need to install and manage Paxton products and solutions on the go.
The free app provides digital access to Paxton’s Knowledge Base, which includes the answers to many FAQs and technical troubleshooting solutions.
Award-Winning Solutions for Your Customers
We always want to ensure installers recommending the very best when specifying Paxton products. We were therefore very pleased that Paxton10 won both the Benchmark Innovation Award and PSI Premier Award for Access Control Solution of the Year.
The PSI Premier Awards are voted for by installers and it gave us great pride to receive the Access Control Product of the Year title for the ninth year running!
Paxton10 Released in our International Markets
Following the excellent response to the launch of our combined access control and video management solution, Paxton10, in the UK in November 2019 – we released the new system to our international customers. Installers in France, Germany, Scandinavia, South Africa and Ireland were introduced to our most powerful system between May and September.
The system combines access control and video management on a single platform. There is also an online interface meaning users can manage the security of your site easily.
Virtual Training Took Centre Stage
2020 was unprecedented and many of us had to make significant changes to the ways in which we work.
During this time wanted to continue supporting our installers to develop their business offering and protect their future projects.
For those who were spending more time at home (or behind a desk), we were able to offer a range of online and virtual training sessions. Training options included self-paced online courses and live instructor led sessions with a Paxton trainer.
Our approach is to remain supportive and productive, by providing customers with the latest product training, technical advice and support for upcoming projects.
We want to say a HUGE thank you to all our installers, distributors, partners, customers, and the Paxton team for your support over the last year. We have some exciting things coming up in 2021 that we can’t wait to share with you!
