Entry operating modes
Networked or standalone, which is right for you?
Entry can be used without a network in standalone mode – ideal for smaller sites or those not requiring the additional functionality of an online system. This simpler solution requires just the three components of the system (and a pack of access cards or keyfobs if needed for access). Unlike a networked system, a standalone system is programmed at each panel.
Hardware required: control unit, monitor, panel and cards/tokens

(Net2 access control)
Entry can be used as part of a networked Net2 access control system. This means centralized management from a PC, and the benefit of a range of additional features that come with Net2 including event reporting, remote management and third-party system integration.
Hardware required: panel, monitor, controller (and Net2 installed on server PC)

(Paxton10 access control & video management)
Entry can be used as part of a Paxton10 access control and video management system. The online user interface means that the Entry panels and monitors can be managed from anywhere with an internet connection, just like any other Paxton10 hardware. When used with Paxton10, the Entry panels also supports our free of charge Bluetooth® smart credentials.
Hardware required: panel, monitor, server, door controller

How it works
Entry is a video intercom system that works standalone or alongside our Net2 and Paxton10 networked access control systems.
Installation is simple, only one type of cable is needed to connect system components. Entry can be fitted using existing Cat5 infrastructure and can connect to an existing IP network.
The components, using IPV6, auto detect on setup, making installation straightforward with no specialist training required. Entry is a true plug-and-play solution; simply connect the components and the system is ready! The external panels read multi-format token technology, including Paxton, MIFARE®, Bluetooth®* and HID™ 125kHz Proximity tokens**.
Installation is flexible, with flush or surface mount panel options allowing you to tailor a solution to any site requirements. With a range of monitors available, including standard, premium and audio options, your Entry system can be tailored to suit any building, whatever the budget.
*When integrated with Paxton10
**When enabled using Genuine HID Technology™
