Brexit

Now that the UK has left the European Union, we are keen at Paxton to allay any concerns our loyal Installers or Distribution partners may have about the availability of our products.

Paxton is proud to be a UK manufacturer with a global outlook. We have been an exporter to countries outside of the EU for over a decade with a robust supply chain that is well experienced in the transportation of our products as well as the acquiring of materials.

We expect some delays which are outside of our control as the EU and UK work through the new measures. To mitigate any impact to you, our customers, we are holding more stock and allowing materials longer lead-times to reach our Manufacturing Facility. Therefore, we do not foresee disruption for most of our business, whatever the outcome of negotiations, or achievement of deals.

Shipping information for ordering Paxton products into the EU

There will be no additional cost incurred by you, our Installers or Distributors. Paxton will cover the cost of clearance fees and import duties by Customs via our clearing agency. However, please note that Paxton do not cover import VAT. This is now accounted for at the point of import into the EU. Payment of import VAT can be automatically passed to a VAT return via a deferment account, or paid at point of import and then reclaimed on VAT returns.

Throughout this year we will continue to review and update our shipping providers as appropriate to continue providing you with the best possible level of service.
