Journey to net zero
We are working with Carbon Footprint to measure and benchmark our emissions, ready to create our targeted net zero plan for reduction and off-setting in the years to come.
This year we are focussed on the Energy Saving Opportunities Scheme Phase 3 Compliance in conjunction with the Environmental Agency & Carbon Footprint. The outcome of which will ensure a dedicated plan to optimise onsite energy savings moving forward. We will continue to educate our people and our customers on the ethical ways of doing business while developing products that continue to help buildings lower their emissions.
Together, we pledge to conduct Paxton business in a way that not only limits our impact on the environment but enhances it positively wherever possible.
Waste & recycling
- We are focussed on waste reduction and the education of the Paxton team to ensure we operate in an environmentally conscious way as we go about our work
- We operate zero waste to landfill of general waste at our UK sites
- Recyclable, sustainable material in all our promotional items
Transport
- We support our colleagues to make the greener choice with transport, offering loans and subsidies for those that take up more eco-friendly options like public transport or electric vehicles
- Our hybrid working week encourages home working two out of five, avoiding unnecessary commuting for employees
- We have a 100% electric goal for company fleet – currently 98% of Paxton vehicles are electric or hybrid products, materials and equipment
Products, materials & equipment
- Paxton products are built to last – all our products come with an industry leading 5-year guarantee
- We invest in local sourcing, sea freight and increased stock holding to minimise any reliance on air freight
- Our security systems help save energy by switching utilities off when a building is empty or the function is no longer required. This limits a business’s impact on the environment while saving customers money
Customer Communication
- We believe in limiting the need for our printed materials, which are fully recyclable
- We invest in and encourage digital communication with Paxton customers and employees like our Paxton Installer app which provides easy access to instructions and product info

- Our manufacturing facilities are fully certified to meet ISO 9001 and ISO 14001, the highest standards in both quality and environmental responsibility
