HKUK- Hong Kong Community Centre
New PaxLock Pro2 and Paxton10 secures vibrant community centre in London.
HKUK was founded by Hong Kong residents who have recently moved to Kingston, and is dedicated to providing a vibrant community platform for people from Hong Kong in Kingston upon Thames and the surrounding area.
The community centre offers a range of services, including children’s education, senior wellness, local markets, and festival celebrations. They aim to provide a space for organising events and realising creative ideas.
Requirement
HKUK were looking for a future-proof system that would develop with the needs of their venue, could secure both the public and private spaces all while being sympathetic to the requirements of a listed building. Remote management was also a key requirement for the team at HKUK, and they were keen to use smartphone credentials rather than cards or tokens.

Solution
In total 28 doors were secured with 14 using the PaxLock Pro2 and, for an extra level of security a Paxton10 – mini bullet camera was installed at every door so that the system could be set up to record an image with every event that happened at the door.

Every door in the building now has access control, starting at the entrance with the Entry Touch Panel through to the offices, halls, a bike store, and even the toilets.
