New PaxLock Pro2 secures additional 22 doors at London Academy.
The Archbishop Lanfranc Academy is a modern, vibrant school with a long and historic tradition of educating students from the three London boroughs – Croydon, Merton and Sutton. The Academy is proud of its history, and through its various incarnations, has educated children from its local community since 1931.
The school site encompasses a nursery and secondary school as well a number of resources they hire out to the public including, three 3G pitches, a sports hall, activities studio, conference spaces and a catering kitchen.
Requirement
As with any education facility, creating a safe learning space for the pupils to thrive was of the upmost importance. This in addition to the well-established tradition of letting its premises for the use of local people, charities, community and commercial organisations meant that an access control system was essential.

Brien Bloomfield from 2bsecure has been working with The Archbishop Lanfranc Academy for seven years building out their Net2 access control site to include 250 doors secured primarily by wireless door handles, with some hard-wired doors and video door entry.
Working with the onsite Facilities Manager, in 2026 the opportunity arose to extend the system and install 22 PaxLock Pro2s across the school.
