Paxton is Officially Carbon Neutral

We have measured our first ever carbon footprint, taking the first steps on our journey to net zero by becoming carbon neutral in South Africa, the UK, France, and Germany.

Our company goal is for Paxton to be thriving in 100 years’ time, for that to happen, the world needs to be thriving as well.

Becoming carbon neutral

We recorded approximately 2,541 tCO₂e produced in 2022. This is equivalent to roughly 1,550 economy return flights from Heathrow to New York.

Since 2023 we have been working with Carbon Footprint Ltd, taking steps on a clear and focussed reduction plan and offset emissions by investing in environmental projects that actively prevent carbon from reaching the atmosphere.

We aim for a world-class approach in all that we do and to us that means always striving for continuous improvement.

We have a dedicated Paxton Green Team who are fully trained on carbon literacy, working on our journey to net zero. In 2023 we launched our Environmental Policy.

Why go greener?

  • We recognise that as we grow, our impact on the environment will be bigger
  • We know that being environmentally conscious matters increasingly to our installers and their customers
  • At Paxton, we all want to do more to help the environment

“This is the first step on our journey to become a net zero company, something we plan to do well in advance of the 2050 limit. “
