Managing your building

Our user-friendly systems make it straightforward for you to manage your building. You can benefit from many features including:

Setting access rights

Depending on which solution you choose, access permissions can be managed remotely from a smart device or browser, from a PC or locally at each door. Our solutions can help you manage your site with a range of access permissions.

  • Dual authentication – doors can be set to require a token plus PIN to secure sensitive areas. With Paxton10, smart credential authentication can also be a requirement; utilising the biometric fingerprint reader on a user’s smart device
  • Wireless door handles – can be quickly added to secure offices or archives, restricting access by the public
  • Temporary access – provide visitors with a token that has a time restriction
  • Emergency lockdown – secure a site at the touch of a button in the event of an emergency (Net2 only)

Automated security settings

Additional automation possibilities support the smooth running of your building, saving you time and allowing you to gain more from your system.

  • Timezones – optimise the use of public areas such as libraries, automatically opening and closing doors when they are open to the public
  • Auto-expiration dates – indicate the dates between which the user’s access is valid. Contractors or temporary staff cards can be configured to have access between certain dates and times
  • Roll call – set your system to generate an automatic roll call report when the fire alarm goes off. This helps to identify who is safe once the building has been evacuated
  • Real time notifications – receive event and access notifications in real-time, wherever you are

Integrating the system

Integrating with other systems can make your building more streamlined and secure.

  • Intruder alarm – control your intruder and access systems as one across different areas of your building and minimise false alarms
  • Fire alarm – program your fire doors to automatically open in the event of an emergency
  • CCTV – link footage to specific access events in our software
  • Lift control – utilising I/O boards the system can be configured to control access into lifts and to individual floors (Net2 only)
  • Lighting – program utilities to switch on or off at a specific time. Our systems can also be used to recognise when facilities aren’t being used making sure empty rooms or areas don’t cost money (Net2 only)
