Net2 is a user friendly and flexible networked access control system, designed to make the management of any site straightforward. When used with Entry, the solution provides a secure access management system that is easily used by all residents and building staff. Neil says: “I’ve worked with Paxton products for more years than I can count, I know Net2 inside and out. With the release of the ntry Premium monitor and Touch panel, I knew this would be the ideal solution for Islington on the Green.”
The new Net2 system electronically controls the main entrance to the building, as well as the private entrances to each of the 70 apartments. Islington on the Green are one of the first sites in the UK to benefit from the Entry Premium monitor, the latest addition to Paxton’s door entry range. The monitor has a smart, slim design to match the building’s modern interior, and incorporates a high quality digital camera for two-way communication with the Entry Touch panel fitted at the main entrance.
The Concierge at Reception can use the monitor to visually identify visitors to the building before granting access. The new monitor also enables them to divert calls to the relevant apartment where residents can permit access to visitors following two-way video communication, with the Entry Touch panel, or audio verification.
The Net2 system, together with premium Entry products, has provided Islington on the Green with a secure, high-end, access control solution, that gives residents the ability to grant or deny access to visitors, and gain access themselves with a simple token.
Rohn Thurman, General Manager, says: “The software is really easy to use, the Entry system is simple, and it does what we need it to, enabling the Concierge and residents to see who is calling, before buzzing people into the building. The new premium monitor also allows us to call the residents directly, saving us a trip up the stairs if we need to speak to them!”
The Net2 and Entry system provide a scalable solution, offering the opportunity to expand and secure any new sites in the same development complex, from the same centrally managed system.
